Zacchaeus tha Great

Zacchaeus Darnell Tabron, known as Zacchaeus tha’ Great in the hip-hop world, is an American artist who was born in Virginia Beach, VA at the Bayside General Hospital on December 8, 1990 to parents Zandra Arlean Tabron & Steven Darnell Eure. He lived in the Twin Carnal Village until the age of 11 when his mother decided to move to Lynbrook Landing where he completed his schooling, graduating from the Bayside High School in 2009.

Even though his interest in hip-hop and rap music developed during his childhood, he viewed it as more of a hobby than a career aspiration, which is why he didn’t actively pursue a career in music until he reached his teenage years, which is when he actively began to record music.

However, he always displayed a hidden talent for rapping when he was a child, but did not let his parents or peers let in on it, until later, when he decided he wanted to venture into the world of music. As time passed, his hobby turned into his passion and he developed an interest in becoming a musician with the year 2008 becoming his first foray into the world of hip-hop and rap music.

It started with an Indie label founded by Alonzo Shaw. He went on to release his first debut single, “Go Get Em” in 2016. His debut single garnered more than 10,000 streams on Spotify.

What sets him apart from other independent artists in the hip-hop and rap industry is his ability to use enticing word play and aggressive delivery of lyrics. He credits the 90s and early 2000s hip-hop, R&B, and reggae for influencing his sound.

JunSix

0

Alternative Christian Hip-Hop artist JunSix blends positive skillfully delivered lyrics over various music styles from gritty beats to EDM.

JunSix started emceeing after hearing “Raising Hell” by Run DMC at the age of 10 and has been doing it ever since. After performing in and winning a rap contest at 11, he decided that he wanted to make a career out of music. Since then, his music has allowed fans to get to know him as a battle emcee, a poet and a vocalist.

JunSix’s style has gotten him compared to the likes of Q-tip, Talib Kweli, Common and Ghostface. However, JunSix considers his influences to range from Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Rakim, Biggie, Tupac and Das EFX to Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye for various reasons. An “against the grain” artist, JunSix focuses on words which defines his style. He chooses to entertain as well as educate which results in lyrical content that leads into a catchy hook.

Musically, one can look for influences from soul and jazz to even rock.

A JunSix album takes you on a ride that goes from pure emceeing to feeling good to just bluntly giving you food for thought. Ultimately, his music is honest and reflects where he is when he writes what he writes.

JunSix hopes to be an important part of hip-hop history and make memorable music and ultimately and perhaps most importantly cultivate a spiritual curiosity.

“The challenge is to give the listener healthy food without taking away the flavor.”

Bon appetite!

The Agency Operative

After picking up from Episode 1, The Agency Operative emerges with a new album Episode 2 – Agent on a Mission. Throughout his career, the agency operative has gone through a series of transformation to reach this point as a hip hop artist.  From writing in a journal to writing rhymes.   The Agency Operative went from playing trumpet to being a vocalist.

There was a setback in which AO had to take a hiatus.  Not seeing financial success on the first album, the Agency Operative was forced to hold back on setting out more projects.  The first project could’ve been the last.  The reason for making another project is AO does not give up so easily.  Even though Episode 1 did not reach financial success, the album did give AO a better look on how the music industry works.

Another reason for putting out another project is that the former graduate of TCNJ in 2009 has not seen much change in the economy.  The job market is still limited with job opportunities. Not much has changed from the first album in 2011 to the current album in 2015.   After graduation AO has only been working for jobs that are temporary and has not been offered a permanent position.  AO has decided to take his life in a new direction.

From the beginning AO was going by stage name King Kong.  The reason for the name change was due to getting legal rights to the name. King Kong came up with the name “The Agency Operative.”  Agency is an acronym (Agent Geared for Emissary to Navigate through Critical Conditions without Yielding).  Operative means secret agent.  The Agency Operative is the secret agent of The Agency Headquarters.  The Agency Headquarters is the name of the label.  The label was created in 2010 with the first single “So Hot.”

The Agency Operative is back on a mission.  The name of the album is Episode 2 – Agent on a Mission.  The album was released on iTunes and Google Play on December 11, 2015.  As an agent on a mission, the journey will continue to fulfill the mission statement.

The current status of A.O. is to continue with the mission.  Already putting in 7 years in the game and still going, A.O. strikes back with the third installment to his discography with Episode 3:  A Force to be Reckoned With.

Solar Facts

The name is Jimmy Jacobs, otherwise known as Solar Facts.

Solar Facts was born in Brooklyn N.Y. and raised in Queens. At just 8 years old, Solar was intrigued by the arts of Run DMC, Fat Boys, L.L Cool J etc. He was fascinated with making music and began writing rhymes that would never get recognized. Solar Facts dreams were halted after he landed 20 years stint in prison for charges ranging from weapons, drugs, robbery and escape. During his time of incarceration, Solar fed his love of music by writing and competing in rap battles behind bars. He overcame every single one of his opponents, maybe not in the first round, but he continued until there was no more to be said. Upon his release in 2012, despite having little knowledge of the music business, Solar founded Indestructable Entertainment.

Having had many discussions surrounding the consistent redundancy of today’s sound, Solar created his company with a mission to open doors for undiscovered talent to be heard. With a focus of individuality and standing out against the norm, Indestructable Entertainment came across one very serious problem… finding artist “Trying to convince other artist that it’s okay to be yourself definitely isn’t trending, so plan B was to lead by example”.

Solar Facts has been working diligently to create better

production and sound quality that is outside the box and ultimately, what he feels is real hip hop. Solar was once approached, at a young age, by a producer who took a liking to his sound and had the idea that Solar should make lyrics to the first Batman movie and title himself as The Joker. Solar refused. Although this might have been a quickly to make money and be heard, he also understood that an image and title of that nature could only be a gimmick and his love and

understanding of music wouldn’t allow him to make that choice. Despite having no experience of writing an entire song. Solar Facts released “I’m That Guy” in 2013. His debut single received overwhelming recognition in the form of 7 million likes and shares, in addition to countless commercials and interviews (all publishing rights and credits reserved).

Solar Facts has been working diligently for better production and sound quality that is outside the box and what he feels is real hip-hop. In 2016 Solar started a project called The Matrix. Each release under The Matrix is labeled the blue pill or the red pill. The red pill symbolizes the choice to hear something more familiar… a different sound with a spin on lyrics similar

to what you might hear in mainstream music. On the other hand, the blue pill symbolizes authenticity in music, something that a listener would have and want to hear more than once to understand.
